Qilihe is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, China, located in the southern part of Lanzhou city center, named after the seven miles from the old city. As an important part of Lanzhou City, Qilihe District is an important transportation hub and industrial base connecting to the northwest region. The total area of the region is about 397 square kilometers, with a population of about 700,000 people.
The economy of Qilihe District is dominated by industry, with machinery manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials and other industries, while the modern service industry is developing rapidly. The district has important transportation facilities such as Lanzhou West Railway Station, as well as higher education institutions such as Lanzhou University of Technology. Humanistic landscapes include historical sites such as Jintian Guan and Baiyi Temple Pagoda, and the Yellow River Scenic Route runs through the area, demonstrating a unique northwestern cityscape.
The region has a temperate semi-arid climate with four distinct seasons, making it one of the representative areas for experiencing Lanzhou beef noodles and appreciating the Yellow River culture.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
