Located in the southwestern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province of China, Qianzhen District is one of the important metropolitan districts in Kaohsiung City. Neighboring Lingya District in the north, Fengshan District in the east, Kaohsiung Harbor in the west, and Xiaogang District in the south, the district is strategically located and serves both industrial, commercial and residential functions. The district is home to well-known landmarks such as the Kaohsiung Exhibition Hall and Qianzhen Fishing Harbor, which is one of Taiwan's important fishing bases and a popular place to enjoy the sunset and seafood. As Kaohsiung's industrial town, Qianzhen District has gathered many manufacturing and logistics enterprises, and in recent years, it has been gradually promoting urban renewal and transformed into a modern integrated area with a well-developed transportation network, including the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line running through it, connecting the Kaohsiung High Speed Rail Station and the Kaohsiung International Airport, making it an important transportation hub and living area in southern Taiwan.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
