Qianfeng is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, China, established in 2013 and located in the eastern part of the Sichuan Basin. With industry and agriculture as its economic pillars, the district has rich coal resources and a manufacturing base, and has been actively developing light textile and machinery industries in recent years. Located in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, Qianfeng enjoys convenient transportation, with the Xiangyu Railway and Guangqian Highway running through the whole territory, connecting major cities such as Chengdu and Chongqing.
The region has a total area of about 504 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000, with a subtropical monsoon climate and four distinct seasons.
