Maduda, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Maduda, DRC is located in North Kivu Province in the eastern part of the country, on the western shore of Lake Kivu, and is an important agricultural and trading town in the Kivu region. The local economy is based on subsistence agriculture, producing coffee, bananas, cassava and other crops, and some of the agricultural products are transported to Goma and other neighboring cities through Lake Kivu water transportation.
