Jajang (Korean: 부전, transcription: Bujon) is a county in South Hamgyong Province of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, located in the southern foothills of the Gae Ma Plateau in the Jajang Ridge mountain range region, and is named after its proximity to the famous Jajang Ridge. Checheng is located on the Hengchun Peninsula in Pingtung County, Taiwan, and is one of the southernmost townships in Taiwan. It is famous for the "Checheng Onion", which accounts for about 80% of Taiwan's total annual onion production, and attracts many tourists to its annual onion festival held in March-April. There is also the Houwan Coastal Wetland, a national wetland, and the historic Dominican Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. Checheng Hot Spring (Sizhongxi Hot Spring) is one of the four most famous springs in Taiwan.
