Port Vila, Vanuatu is the capital and largest city of the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu, located on the southwestern coast of the island of Efate, and is the country's political, economic and transportation center. This port city has a beautiful natural landscape surrounded by crystal clear waters, coral reefs and rainforests, making it a popular destination for diving, snorkeling and other water activities. Port Orly is culturally diverse, blending French and British colonial history with Melanesian Aboriginal traditions, and the local markets, handicrafts and cuisine (e.g., roast pork, coconut crabs) showcase a unique Pacific flavor. A regional trading hub with an economy based on tourism, fishing and offshore financial services, its warm and pleasant climate, with an average year-round temperature of around 25°C, attracts travelers from around the globe to explore its pristine and fascinating island charms.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
