Bologna, the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy, is located at the southern end of the Po River Plain and is an important transportation hub and cultural city in Italy. As one of the oldest university towns in Europe, the University of Bologna (founded in 1088) established its position as an academic center, and its medieval streets and arcades (such as the Church of San Petronio) still exude a rich historical atmosphere. The city is also known as the "capital of gastronomy", home to classic Italian dishes such as tagliatelle al ragù and lasagna, and dotted with traditional markets and centuries-old restaurants, a blend of academic heritage and tongue-twisting charm that attracts tourists and scholars from all over the world.
Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts. A blend of traditional Timacu culture and modern townscape, Samu offers a unique look at the interior of Timor-Leste.
