Podlugovi is a quiet town in the Sarajevo Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), located about 15 kilometers southeast of the capital city of Sarajevo, in the municipal district of Visoko. The town is located in the Central Bosnia region, surrounded by rolling hills and forests, and has a beautiful natural environment with a predominantly Bosnian population, mostly practicing Islam. Economically, Podlugovi is dominated by small-scale agriculture and handicrafts, with some residents commuting to Sarajevo for work. The area retains its traditional Balkan architecture and hosts folklore events every summer, attracting tourists from the surrounding area. As a part of the Sarajevo metropolitan area, Podlugovi offers the tranquility of the countryside and the convenience of the city's resources, making it a pleasant town to live in in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, with its natural and cultural charms.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia.
