Located on the northwest coast of the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, Santa Cruz Beach is one of the island's most popular natural attractions. Known for its fine white sand, clear turquoise waters and tranquil atmosphere, this beach is surrounded by typical Caribbean vegetation and offers visitors the perfect place to relax.
Santa Cruz Beach not only boasts stunning ocean views, but is also adjacent to Curaçao's famous Chet Boca National Park, where visitors can explore spectacular limestone caves and steep coastlines. Traditional colorful Curaçao architecture is preserved near the beach, blending Dutch colonial style with Caribbean culture for snorkeling, sunbathing and local culinary experiences.
Santa Cruz Beach is free and open to the public and has excellent facilities, complete with shower areas, snack bars and parking. It is about a 30-minute drive from Willemstad, the capital of Curaçao. The best time to visit is during the dry season from December to April, and it is recommended to bring snorkeling gear to see the abundant coral reefs and schools of tropical fish.
