Pittsburgh, located in western Pennsylvania, USA, is the starting point of the Ohio River, which is formed by the confluence of the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River. It used to be known as the "Steel Capital of the World", and became the core of the American industry in the 20th century with its iron and steel industry. With the transformation of industry, the city has developed into an innovative city with the pillars of science and technology, healthcare, and education, with Carnegie Mellon University (the world's top computer school) and the University of Pittsburgh (the nation's top medical school), and is known as the "Medical Capital of the United States". The city is culturally diverse, with a strong sports scene, the NFL Steelers and NHL Penguins, and landmarks such as Riverside Park, the Carnegie Science Center, and the distinctive "Golden Gate Bridge" (Pittsburgh's landmark bridge) attract visitors. Pittsburgh has been repeatedly recognized as the "Best City to Live in America" for its livability and economic vitality.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
