Pittsburgh, located in western Pennsylvania, USA, is the starting point of the Ohio River, which is formed by the confluence of the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River. It used to be known as the "Steel Capital of the World", and became the core of the American industry in the 20th century with its iron and steel industry. With the transformation of industry, the city has developed into an innovative city with the pillars of science and technology, healthcare, and education, with Carnegie Mellon University (the world's top computer school) and the University of Pittsburgh (the nation's top medical school), and is known as the "Medical Capital of the United States". The city is culturally diverse, with a strong sports scene, the NFL Steelers and NHL Penguins, and landmarks such as Riverside Park, the Carnegie Science Center, and the distinctive "Golden Gate Bridge" (Pittsburgh's landmark bridge) attract visitors. Pittsburgh has been repeatedly recognized as the "Best City to Live in America" for its livability and economic vitality.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
