Located in the southwestern part of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Pishan County is a county under the jurisdiction of Hotan Region, situated at the southern edge of the Taklamakan Desert and adjacent to the Karakorum Mountains. The region is characterized by multi-ethnic settlement, mainly including Uyghurs and Han Chinese, and has a rich cultural and historical heritage. Pishan has an arid climate, typical of a continental desert climate, and agriculture is dominated by the cultivation of jujubes, walnuts and other specialty fruits and forests, making it one of the most important dry fruit-producing areas in Xinjiang. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and in recent years the tourism industry has been gradually developed to attract tourists to explore its unique natural landscape and Silk Road history and culture. Pishan is also strategically located as one of the potential nodes of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
