Pingwu County is located in the northwest of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, in the transition zone from the Northwest Sichuan Plateau to the Sichuan Basin, and is an important ecological barrier on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. With Wanglang National Nature Reserve and vast panda habitats, Pingwu County is known as one of the "hometowns of pandas". The mountains in the area are stacked up and the Fuling River flows through the area, giving rise to rich natural landscapes such as alpine valleys and primitive forests, especially the Baima Tibetan culture as the core of the humanities, whose unique costumes, songs and dances, and customs attract many tourists. In addition, Pingwu is also the location of the Ming Dynasty's "Deep Mountain Palace", the Repayment Temple, a well-preserved royal temple complex that demonstrates exquisite ancient craftsmanship and is an important object for the study of Ming Dynasty architecture and Buddhist culture. As a place where ecology and culture meet, Pingwu combines natural wildness and humanistic charm, making it an excellent destination for exploring the secret places of Northwest Sichuan.
