Pinggui District, located in Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, is a newly established municipal district in 2016, with a total area of about 2,022 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000 people. It is located in the northeast of Gui, neighboring Guangdong and Hunan, and is an important node area for the radiation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Known for its rich mineral resources and agricultural economy, Pinggui was historically famous for tin mining and now focuses on the development of calcium carbonate and new materials industries. The district boasts unique karst landscapes and Yao culture, and tourist attractions such as Guba Mountain National Forest Park and Shibashui Scenic Area attract many tourists. Pinggui has convenient transportation, with Guiguang high-speed railway and highway network, which help the regional economic integration.
