Located in the northeastern part of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China, Pingshan New District is one of the functional new districts under the jurisdiction of Shenzhen City and was established in 2009. As an important development area in the eastern part of Shenzhen, Pingshan New District is dedicated to building a modernized and internationalized city demonstration area, with high-tech industries, biomedicine and new energy vehicles as its main focus. With an area of about 168 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000, the area has a convenient transportation network, including Metro Line 14 and the Shenshan Expressway.
Pingshan New District has a beautiful natural environment with ecological resources such as MaRuan Mountain and Pingshan River, while focusing on cultural and educational development with colleges and universities such as Shenzhen University of Technology. The district is actively promoting industrial upgrading and urban construction to become an important growth pole in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
