Located in the northeastern part of Fujian Province, China, Pingnan County is part of Ningde City, a county known for its landscape ecology and ancient village culture. Located in the middle of the Vulture Peak Mountain Range, it has a high average altitude and a cool climate, and is known as a "natural air-conditioned city".
Pingnan has the Baishuiyang-Yuanyang Stream National Scenic Spot, in which Baishuiyang is known as "the best view in the world" and is a rare shallow water plaza in the world, while Yuanyang Stream is famous for its canyon waterfalls and ecological diversity, and is a national nature reserve.
With a long history, Pingnan has preserved a large number of ancient villages of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as Shuangxi Town and Jiha Village, which have inherited the traditional architecture and folk culture of eastern Fujian. It is also one of the places where the traditional building techniques of wooden arch bridges in China are passed down in a living form, and is listed on the United Nations' list of non-legacy.
As an ecological demonstration county, Pingnan focuses on green development and is rich in specialties such as alpine tea and edible mushrooms. The tourism industry focuses on nature sightseeing, rural experience and cultural heritage tourism, making it an important destination for eco-tourism in Fujian.
Nola is the capital of the Sangha-Mbaere prefecture of the Central African Republic, located in the southwestern part of the country near the borders with Cameroon and Congo-Brazzaville. The city is located in the tropical rainforest region, on the banks of the Sangha River, a tributary of the Oubangui River, with a population of about 40,000 people, with agriculture and forestry as the mainstay of the economy.
NOLA has a typical tropical climate with abundant annual rainfall and is surrounded by dense rainforest with remarkable biodiversity. The city serves as a border trade hub, connecting Central Africa with neighboring countries by land and waterway transport, with active trade in agricultural products such as timber, coffee and cocoa.
The local population lives from farming and forestry and retains a traditional Bantu culture. Nora's infrastructure is relatively simple, but in recent years it has gradually developed public services such as education and healthcare, and has become the administrative and commercial center of the southwestern region.
Although the tourism industry is not yet mature, the natural rainforest landscape and indigenous villages around NOLA offer a unique experience for adventure travelers. Visits require safety and advance local knowledge.
