Pinghe County is located in the south of China's Fujian Province, under Zhangzhou City, at the junction of Fujian and Guangdong Provinces. It has a long history, having been founded in the 13th year of Ming Zhengde (1518), and is one of the important birthplaces of southern Fujian culture.

Danba County is located in the eastern part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China, on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, and is the first city on the Dadu River. With an average altitude of about 2,000 meters, it attracts global travelers with its rich natural landscape and deep cultural heritage.
Cultural Characteristics
Danba is the core settlement area of the Jiajung Tibetan people, famous for "Danba beauty" and ancient towers. The best time to visit is April-May (pear blossom season) and September-October (autumn color season). It takes about 6 hours to drive from Chengdu to Danba, where you can experience Tibetan lodging, watch potshuang dance, taste ghee tea and yak meat, and other special cultural programs.
