Pinggu District is located in the northeastern part of Beijing, at the junction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei provinces and cities, and is the capital's "Gateway to the East of Beijing". Akobo is a town in Eastern Equatoria State, South Sudan, located in the southeastern part of the country, near the Ethiopian border. It is situated on the banks of the Akobo River in a savannah climate zone with distinct wet and dry seasons and high average annual temperatures.
