Pingfang District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China, located in the southern part of downtown Harbin. The area is an important industrial base and a new science and technology district in Harbin, famous for its aviation industry, with large enterprises such as Harbin Aircraft Industry Group. With a total area of about 98 square kilometers and a population of about 200,000, Pingfang District has convenient transportation and is closely connected to the main urban area through a network of subways and highways.
The area blends industrial development with ecological construction, with green spaces such as Pingfang Park, while actively promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading as part of the Harbin New District. The Pingfang District embodies the transformational vitality of China's old industrial base in Northeast China, and is an important window into the industrial history and modern development of Heilongjiang.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
