Pingbian Miao Autonomous County is located in the southeast of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, situated in the frontier of South Yunnan, bordering with Vietnam, and is one of the important portals of Yunnan facing South and Southeast Asia.
