Phuntsholing, the capital of the Chukha Dzong of the Kingdom of Bhutan, is located in the southwestern part of the country and shares a border with the Indian state of West Bengal, making it Bhutan's main land gateway to foreign countries. As the "economic gateway" to Bhutan, Phuntsholing is a center of industry, commerce and trade, with Bhutan's largest commodities market and a number of factories, including cement and textile industries. The town is a blend of modern urbanity and traditional Bhutanese culture, with traditional buildings and stores lining the streets, allowing visitors to experience Bhutan's unique cultural atmosphere and to visit nearby attractions such as the Amrit Vihar. Massy Ridge is a mature residential area in the northern part of Singapore, conveniently located at the edge of the central catchment area and close to Woodlands. Residents have quick access to the city center through the Massy Ridge MRT station (North-South Line). The area is dominated by HDB flats and private residences, with a serene living atmosphere and a wide range of amenities including neighborhood shopping malls, schools (e.g. Massy Ridge Primary School), parks, and cooked food centers to cater to the needs of everyday life.
