Phuntsholing, the capital of the Chukha Dzong of the Kingdom of Bhutan, is located in the southwestern part of the country and shares a border with the Indian state of West Bengal, making it Bhutan's main land gateway to foreign countries. As the "economic gateway" to Bhutan, Phuntsholing is a center of industry, commerce and trade, with Bhutan's largest commodities market and a number of factories, including cement and textile industries. The town is a blend of modern urbanity and traditional Bhutanese culture, with traditional buildings and stores lining the streets, allowing visitors to experience Bhutan's unique cultural atmosphere and to visit nearby attractions such as the Amrit Vihar. Thanks to its strategic location, Phuntsholing is not only an economic hub but also an important link between Bhutan and the outside world, offering a unique blend of tradition and modernity.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
