Located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia, Perak is the fourth-largest state in Malaysia by area, bordering Thailand, and its capital, Ipoh, is known as the "City of Mountains". Known for its rich tin-mining history and once a major global tin producer, Ipoh is now a blend of natural beauty and multiculturalism. The capital city of Ipoh retains its colonial architecture and is the birthplace of white coffee, which attracts food lovers; the state's Temple of Ultimate Bliss, one of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia, is magnificent; and the island of Bangkok is a vacation destination with its pristine beaches and relaxing atmosphere. Perak is also rich in agricultural resources such as durian and rambutan, and with an economy that spans tourism, manufacturing and agriculture, it is an ideal place to experience the diverse charms of Malaysia.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
