Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is close to the Savannah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to hike and fish.

Xian'an is located in the southeastern part of China's Hubei Province, and is a municipal district of Xianning City, located on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and an important part of the Wuhan City Circle. With a total area of 1,502 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000, the district has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall.
Xian'an has a history of more than 1,700 years of establishment, and is famous as "the hometown of osmanthus" and "the hometown of nanzhu", with historical relics such as the ancient battlefield of the Three Kingdoms, Red Cliff and Taiyi Cave in its territory. The Kam River passes through the city, and the Qianshan National Forest Park is located in the city, forming an ecological pattern of "the city is in the mountains and the water is in the city".
As the transportation hub of E'nan, Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao High Speed Railway run through the whole area. The economy of the region is dominated by electromechanical manufacturing, ramie textile and food processing, and at the same time, the deep processing of osmanthus and ecological tourism have been vigorously developed, forming a unique industrial system.
