Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is close to the Savannah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to hike and fish.

Tangshan is located in the eastern part of Hebei Province, with Yanshan Mountain in the north and Bohai Sea in the south, and is an important node city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cooperative Development Strategy, known as the "cradle of China's modern industry". Here was born China's first mechanized coal mine, the first standard-gauge railroad, the industrial heritage is profound, and now has formed a steel, equipment manufacturing, energy, building materials and other pillar industries, while actively developing high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials and other emerging industries. As one of the core cities of the Bohai Economic Circle, Tangshan has Caofeidian Port, an important outlet to the sea, connecting Northeast Asia and inland logistics hub.
