Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. Lengo is a small town on the western coast of Guadalcanal Island in the Solomon Islands, part of the Guadalcanal Province, about 40 kilometers from the capital Honiara, and is known for its tranquil bays and World War II historical sites.
