Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is close to the Savannah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to hike and fish.

Ningguo is a county-level city in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, which is located in the southeast of Anhui Province, east of Hangzhou and south of Huangshan Mountain, with a total area of 2,487 square kilometers. As the "Hometown of Chinese Hickory" and "Hometown of Chinese Bamboo", Ningguo has a forest coverage rate of nearly 80%, and possesses ecological landscapes such as Qinglongwan National Water Conservancy Scenic Area and Banqiao Nature Reserve.
Ningguo is an important industrial base in Anhui Province, forming three leading industries, namely auto parts, electronic components and wear-resistant castings, and is known as "China's automobile rubber parts production base". Ningguo County was founded in 208, the 13th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and has preserved historical relics such as the Qianqiu Pass and the Immortal Pagoda. The modern "Sichuan-Tibet Route in South Anhui Province" has become a popular self-driving route, and the annual Pecan Cultural Festival attracts a large number of tourists, demonstrating the unique charm of an ecologically livable city.
