Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is close to the Savannah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to hike and fish.

Located in the northern part of Guangdong Province and administered by Shaoguan City, Lechang City is situated at the junction of Guangdong and Hunan, known as the "Gateway to Northern Guangdong" and an important transportation hub connecting South China and Central China. The city has a long history, with more than 1,500 years since the county was established during the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang in the Southern Dynasty, and is known as "Lechang", which means "Prosperity and Well-being", with a deep cultural heritage. The natural scenery of the territory is exquisite, with Jinji Ridge (a red tourist attraction), Jiufeng Mountain (a provincial forest park), Dayaoshan Ecological Zone and other landscapes, and the Wujiang River passes through the city, which has nurtured rich ecological resources. Lechang is rich in specialty products, among which "Lechang Horseshoe" is a national geographical indication product, which is famous for its sweetness and crispness; peach blossom in Jiufeng Mountain and white hair tea are also quite local specialties. In terms of transportation, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Guangle Expressway run through the whole territory, and the convenient location and transportation advantages inject vitality into the development of the city. Nowadays, Lechang is integrating historical culture and ecological resources to create a livable and workable pearl city in northern Guangdong.
