Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. Junshan, located in Dongting Lake in the southwest corner of Yueyang City, Hunan Province, is a small island in Dongting Lake, which is regarded as an important cultural landmark of "Water under the sky of Dongting, building under the sky of Yueyang".
