Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. Located in the northern part of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, China, Huai Shang District is one of the municipal districts under the jurisdiction of Bengbu City, which is located on the northern bank of the Huai River, hence its name. With a total area of about 240 square kilometers and a population of about 200,000, the area has a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Huaishang District is mainly characterized by industrial development, with machinery manufacturing, textile and food processing industries, while it is rich in agricultural resources, producing wheat, rice and other crops. The transportation is convenient, with a number of highways and railroads running through it, and it is only one bridge away from the center of Bengbu. In recent years, Huashang District has been actively promoting urbanization, with rapid economic development and improved living facilities, making it an important growth pole for Bengbu City.
