Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.

Located in the eastern part of Shaanxi Province, Hancheng is a county-level city under the administration of Weinan City. Located on the west bank of the Yellow River, Hancheng has a long history and deep cultural heritage. As the hometown of Sima Qian, Hancheng is known as the "Town of Literature and History", and boasts the World Cultural Heritage "Dangjiacun Ancient Architectural Complex" and the national cultural relics protection unit "Hancheng Ancient City".
