Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. The town center is home to more than 50 historic buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Pendleton Borough Historical Museum, built in 1826. The town is also known for the Pendleton Farmstead National Historic Landmark, which showcases a unique look at an early farming community.
Each spring, Pendleton hosts the famous Pendleton Spring Festival, which attracts a large number of visitors who come to experience traditional crafts, music and food. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is close to the Savannah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to hike and fish.

Located in the northwest of Hubei Province, China, Fancheng is the core city of Xiangyang, which is separated from the ancient city of Xiangyang by the Han River, forming the historical pattern of "South City, North City". As a national important transportation hub, Fancheng has a history of more than 2,800 years, and was once an important birthplace of the Three Kingdoms culture and the Han River civilization. With an area of about 566 square kilometers and a resident population of about 800,000, the city has a northern subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
Since ancient times, Fancheng has been a place of war, and famous historical events such as Guan Yu's flooding of seven armies during the Three Kingdoms period and Yue Fei's resistance to gold in the Southern Song Dynasty all took place here. Modern Fancheng has formed an economic system dominated by the automobile industry and modern service industry, and has an important plate of Xiangyang Free Trade Zone. The construction of Fancheng New District is accelerating, and traditional beef noodles, yellow wine and other delicacies are unique, while the night view of the Han River and the city's light show have become a hot spot on the Internet, a perfect blend of historical heritage and modern urban style.
