Pendleton is a historic town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States, located in the northwestern part of the state, about 30 miles from the city of Greenville. The town is known for its well-preserved 19th century architecture and deep cultural heritage.
Founded in 1790, Pendleton is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. Aishalton (Anna Regina) is an important town in the Barima-Waini Region of Guyana, situated on the Atlantic coast in the north of the country, about 110 kilometers from the capital city of Georgetown, and is one of the economic and transportation hubs on the northern coast of Guyana. The town's main industries are agriculture and fishing, and the surrounding area is rich in rice, sugarcane and tropical fruits, as well as being an important distribution center for Guyana's rice exports.
