Panyu is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou City in Guangdong Province, China, located in the center of the Pearl River Delta and adjacent to Hong Kong and Macau. As the core area in the south of Guangzhou, Panyu has a long history, having been the seat of the Nanhai County in the Qin Dynasty, with a history of more than 2,200 years of city building.
