Panjin is located in the south of Liaoning Province, at the mouth of the Liao River, in the center of the Liao River Delta, and is an important node city of the Bohai Economic Circle. It has the world's rare red beach, the red carpet of alkali grass in the fall of each year, attracting countless tourists, but also the habitat of rare birds, such as red-crowned cranes, known as the "wetland of the capital". Agriculturally, Panjin rice is famous for its high quality water and black soil, and is a National Geographical Indication product; industrially, Panjin is an important petrochemical base based on the Liaohe Oilfield. Panjin combines ecological beauty and industrial strength, showing a unique urban charm.
Šimnas (Širvintos) is a city in eastern Lithuania, about 50 km northwest of the capital Vilnius, and belongs to the administrative center of the Šimnas District. The city is situated on the banks of the river Simna and is surrounded by forests and lakes in a beautiful and peaceful natural environment.
First mentioned in historical documents in 1475, Simnas has a long history of settlement. The city retains traditional Lithuanian architecture, with historical buildings such as the Church of St. Michael the Archangel demonstrating its cultural heritage. Agriculture and forestry are the mainstays of the local economy, while strong folk traditions and handicraft production are maintained.
