Ouhai is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, located on the southeast coast of Zhejiang Province and on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Oujiang River, and is an important part of the main urban area of Wenzhou City. The area is about 467 square kilometers with a resident population of nearly one million. As the core block of Wenzhou metropolitan area, Ouhai has a developed economy, with industries based on light manufacturing, commerce and logistics, electronic information, and has characteristic economic blocks such as China's eyeglasses production base and apparel industry agglomeration area.
Ouhai has a profound history and culture, is one of the important birthplaces of Ouyue culture, there are natural and humanistic landscapes such as Chashan Scenic Area and Xianyan Scenic and Historic Spot in the territory. Regional transportation is convenient, Wenzhou South Railway Station is located here, Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Railway, Jinwen Railway and other railroad lines intersect, efficiently connecting the Yangtze River Delta and the West Coast Economic Zone.
