Located in northern Utah, in Utah County, Orem is one of the core cities of the Provo-Orem metropolitan area, with a population of approximately 110,000, making it the fifth largest city in Utah. Omdurman is one of the three major cities of the Republic of Sudan, located across the river from the capital Khartoum, and together with Khartoum and North Khartoum, it forms the metropolitan area.
