Novska, Croatia is not a country, but a city in the Republic of Croatia, known as Novska. It is located in the central region of Croatia, belonging to the Sisak Moslavina County, about 100 kilometers from the capital Zagreb, located in the southeastern part of the Pannonian Plain, adjacent to the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. With a population of about 13,000, Novska has an economy based on industry and agriculture, and was historically known for its wood processing and railroad transportation.
