Novodroplino (Новопокровское) is a town in southeastern Moscow Oblast, Russia, located about 50 kilometers from the city of Moscow, and is under the jurisdiction of Oginzovo District of Moscow Oblast. It is located in the Eastern European Plain and has a temperate continental climate with long, cold winters and short, warm summers. Novo Troplino is conveniently connected to Moscow by the M3 highway or the suburban railroad and is one of the important residential and satellite towns in the suburbs of Moscow. The local economy is based on light industry, agriculture and services, and in recent years, with the expansion of the Moscow metropolitan area, the population has gradually grown and the infrastructure has been improved. The town is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment with forests and lakes, which makes it an ideal place for local residents to spend their vacations, and is also a typical representative of small and medium-sized towns in Russia, blending traditional and modern life.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
