North Haven is a town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States, located in the south-central part of the state, about 130 kilometers from New York City. With an area of about 55 square kilometers and a population of about 24,000, the town is an important part of the New Haven metropolitan area.
North Haven is located along the Quinnipiac River, adjacent to the City of New Haven, with easy access to the surrounding area via Interstate 91 and Connecticut Route 15. This location makes it an important transportation node between New York and Boston.
The town has a diversified economic base, with medical device manufacturing, retail trade, and healthcare services as major industries. In terms of education, the North Haven Public School system has an excellent reputation in the state, and Quinnipiac University is located in the neighboring town of Hamden, providing the region with higher education resources.

Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock. Despite infrastructural challenges, Diffa remains an important economic and cultural node in the south-east of the Niger, thanks to its strategic location and rich cultural heritage.
