Located in the southern part of Hunan Province, China, Ningyuan County belongs to Yongzhou City and is an important historical and cultural city in southern Hunan. It has a total area of 2,526 square kilometers and a population of about 850,000 people. The county is famous for Shun Di culture and Jiuyi Mountain Scenic Spot, which is regarded as "the source of Chinese moral civilization". Jiuyi Mountain is a national 4A-level tourist attraction with natural and humanistic landscapes such as the Shun Emperor's Mausoleum and Zixia Rock. Ningyuan's economy is mainly based on agriculture, producing rice, tobacco and citrus, while actively developing tourism and light industry. The transportation is convenient, with the Erguang Expressway and Xialong Expressway running through the whole territory, connecting to the major cities around. Blending ancient folklore with modern development, Ningyuan is an ideal destination for exploring Hunan culture and eco-tourism.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
