Located in the southern part of Shaanxi Province, China, Ningxia County is part of Ankang City and is situated at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains, a county-level administrative region known for its natural ecology and mountainous landscapes. With a total area of 3,678 square kilometers and a population of about 70,000, the county is known for its rich forest cover and biodiversity, and is regarded as a "natural oxygen bar" and an important part of the Qinling ecological barrier.
Ningxia County has a number of nature reserves and national forest parks, such as Tianhuashan National Nature Reserve, which is suitable for hiking, bird-watching and eco-tourism. It has a mild climate with four distinct seasons and cool summers, making it a summer vacation spot. Agriculture and forestry are the mainstays of the region, and specialties include walnuts, honey and Chinese herbs.
Ningshan County has a long history and deep culture, incorporating local traditions from the Qinba Mountain area. Conveniently connected to Xi'an and Sichuan via National Highway 210 and the Xi'an-Han Highway, it is suitable for self-driving tours and in-depth nature exploration.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
