Ningguo is a county-level city in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, which is located in the southeast of Anhui Province, east of Hangzhou and south of Huangshan Mountain, with a total area of 2,487 square kilometers. As the "Hometown of Chinese Hickory" and "Hometown of Chinese Bamboo", Ningguo has a forest coverage rate of nearly 80%, and possesses ecological landscapes such as Qinglongwan National Water Conservancy Scenic Area and Banqiao Nature Reserve.
Ningguo is an important industrial base in Anhui Province, forming three leading industries, namely auto parts, electronic components and wear-resistant castings, and is known as "China's automobile rubber parts production base". Meanwhile, as the first "China Organic Agriculture Demonstration Base", Ningguo is well known for its specialty agricultural products such as pecans and bamboo products.
Ningguo County was founded in 208, the 13th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and has preserved historical relics such as the Qianqiu Pass and the Immortal Pagoda. The modern "Sichuan-Tibet Route in South Anhui Province" has become a popular self-driving route, and the annual Pecan Cultural Festival attracts a large number of tourists, demonstrating the unique charm of an ecologically livable city.
Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock. Diffa, as a regional trade center, undertakes the function of cross-border trade with neighboring countries, such as Nigeria, and is especially famous for the trade of livestock, agricultural products and handicrafts. The city is culturally diverse, with Hausa, Tuareg and Kanuri ethnic groups living in the area, and is unique in its crafts such as traditional leather weaving and silversmithing. Despite infrastructural challenges, Diffa remains an important economic and cultural node in the south-east of the Niger, thanks to its strategic location and rich cultural heritage.
