Ning'an is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Mudanjiang City, sitting on the core scenic area of Jingpo Lake, known as the "South of Sebei River". This thousand-year-old city was built in the Tang Dynasty, was the former capital of the Bohai State, the history of the city is rich, the existing Bohai State on the capital of Longquanfu ruins and other monuments. The territory is rich in natural resources, Jingpo Lake is China's largest volcanic weir lake, the lake and mountain color and volcanic landscapes reflect each other; crater underground forests show "underground forest wonders".
