Nimu County is located in the south-central Tibet Autonomous Region of China, southwest of Lhasa, about 70 kilometers from Lhasa city, located in the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River valley, the average altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level, is a typical south Tibetan plateau agricultural county.
