Located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of New York, New York City is the most populous city in the U.S. and one of the world's centers of finance, culture, arts and media. Jiange County is located in the northern part of Sichuan Province of China, under Guangyuan City, at the southern foot of the Qinba Mountain area, and is famous for "Jianmen Pass". It was an important pass on the ancient Shu Road, known as "One man holding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it", and witnessed historical events such as Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition during the Three Kingdoms period. Jiange has a rich cultural heritage, including national attractions such as the Jianmen Pass Ancient Shu Road and the Cuiyun Lang Ancient Cypress Cluster, combining treacherous natural scenery with profound humanistic history.
The local economy is based on agriculture and tourism, with specialties such as Jianmen Tofu and Mumen Mash. Jiange is also known as the "Pearl of Shu Road", a living fossil for the study of ancient transportation and military defense, which attracts a large number of tourists every year to visit its majestic passes and relics of the Three Kingdoms.
