N'Gaye is a coastal city on the Atlantic coast of western Senegal, about 80 kilometers southeast of the capital Dakar, in the Thiès region. The city is one of Senegal's most important seafood suppliers, with fishing and salt industries as its main industries and a natural shallow fishing harbor. Naye is surrounded by mangrove wetlands, a unique ecological environment that attracts birdwatchers and eco-tourism enthusiasts. The local culture is a blend of Wolof and Serer traditions, characterized by handicrafts and traditional dances. As a transportation node between Dakar and the south, Naye is a small but unique window to the western coast of Senegal with its tranquil seaside atmosphere and pristine natural landscape.
Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts.
