Located in the northeastern part of Miaoli County, Taiwan, China, Nanzhuang Township is situated at the southern foot of the Hsuehshan Mountain Range, and is a famous Hakka township and eco-tourism destination in Taiwan. Surrounded by mountains and meandering streams, it has natural barriers such as Lion Mountain and Garry Mountain, as well as clear water systems such as Penglai Creek and Nanzhuang Creek, forming a rich forest ecology and waterfall landscapes, such as the sea of clouds and tea gardens of the Deer Lake Scenic Area and the stream play experience of the Xiaodong River, all of which are popular destinations for tourists to get close to nature. These are popular places for tourists to get close to nature. Nanzhuang has Hakka culture as its foundation, preserving traditional Hakka settlement architecture and customs. The Nanzhuang Mountain and Water Festival and Hakka Culture Festival are held every year, showcasing the unique charms of Hakka songs and cuisine (such as Hakka tea and mochi). At the same time, the local area is rich in agricultural products such as high mountain tea and pomelo, and is a representative township in north-central Taiwan that offers both leisure and cultural experiences, thanks to its natural interest and cultural heritage.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
