Nanping City is located in the northern part of Fujian Province, Wuyi Mountains, the northern section of the Minjiang River upstream, is the source of the Minjiang River and Fujian "North Gate", north of Zhejiang, east of Ningde, south of Sanming, west of Jiangxi, since ancient times, for the Central Plains into the Fujian an important channel.
