Located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China, South Lake is one of the sites of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), which is of great historical significance. 1921, the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) closed on a cruise ship in South Lake, announcing the birth of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and thus South Lake is known as the birthplace of the "Red Boat Spirit".
South Lake Scenic Area is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, known for its beautiful natural scenery and rich humanistic landscape. The Lake Island and the Smoke and Rain Building combine the elegance of the Jiangnan water town with the gravity of revolutionary history, attracting a large number of tourists and study groups every year.
